Throughout my experience as an
attorney, I have litigated many contract and other legal issues that could have
been avoided if one or both of the parties was better informed before making important
decisions. I am repeatedly asked questions about the same legal issues, and
hear so many “urban legends” about “theories” of law, that I am compelled to
provide a bit of general information about legal questions that arise time and
time again. It is my hope that by reading this blog, an individual or business owner
will learn some basic legal principles that save them trouble, time, and
expense in the future.
